PARIS, FRANCE - DECEMBER 18, 2007. The ESWC Organizing Committee regrets to inform the community of players, supporters and partners that the game PES, anticipated for 2008, is today suspended and will not appear in the second pool of ESWC games announced in few days. Despite the support of Konami France, that we thank for their help and will of mediation, we still don’t get any response from the global Konami authority to secure an agreement to use PES 2008 in ESWC competitions worldwide. This agreement is subjected to a sub-licensing issue, out of Konami’s properties. We wish to find as soon as possible, a way to reinsert the title in ESWC line-up of games.
