Big Boys Toys - The winners

The Big Boys Toys Supershow ran over the weekend at the ADNEC in Abu Dhabi and showcased the best Counter-Strike teams that the United Arab Emirates had to offer. The CS tournament itself was spread over the full three days of the event in double elimination format and saw some close fought battles and a few upsets along the way.

The Big Boys Toys Supershow takes place at the ADNEC in Abu Dhabi from Thursday 30th April through to Saturday 2nd May and Game Frontier will be there bringing you our usual brand of gaming and entertainment. Top of the bill is the Counter-Strike 1.6 tournament backed up by events for Trackmania Nations Forever and Pro Evolution Soccer 2009.

THESGL SEASON NINE COMES TO A CLOSE

The Season Nine event hosted on theSGL.com is now drawing to a close accross many varied gametypes, the longest running of which - Counter-Strike 1.6 has seen Team Coolermaster stretch their list of achievements over the past weeks to include the Invite league play off title crowning them the overall champions of CS1.6 on theSGL. Added to this a fifth straight win in the SteelSeries King of the Hill and a not inconsiderable cash win of £500 is on it's way to them - a highly succesful and (barring a defeat in the League Cup semi final at the hands of H2k) an undefeated one.
